Anand-Ganga A Holistic Place, Netala, nestled in the Himalayan region, right on the banks of the holy river Ganga. Anand-Ganga is a small guesthouse, surrounded by evergreen forests, and sky-scraping picks. It is the abode of peace and beauty. The modern facilities and the spotless cleanliness are ideal for those who seek the perfect place for spending some quality time to rejuvenate their body, mind and soul. The vision of the founder, Krishna Nand, is to create a holistic place for spiritual-minded people who look for an inspiring place for quiet contemplation, spiritual practice and study. The beauty and the serenity of the place themselves are enough to calm the mind and to arise the inner peace of all.
The place is also open for groups who look for a place to conduct spiritual retreats. Regular Yoga classes, treks to nearby touristic attractions, traditional local folk music and dancing, and other activities will enhance your holiday into an unforgettable experience. The five rooms are each equipped with kingsize beds and an extra bed with modern attached bathroom with a shower. There is a dinning/yoga hall and a well-equipped kitchen. It is located near the pictorial village Netala, nine kilometers from the famous Himalayan town Uttarkashi on the road to Gangotri. We serve here delicious, traditional, vegetarian food, cooked with love and devotion. There are many attractive locations around the guesthouse for a day hike, trekking, or just for an evening strolls, including famous temples, mountain lakes, and traditional Himalayan villages. Longer treks for mountaineers can be arranged as well. Moderate rates and very dedicated and loving service complete the overall experience. Please come over and spend some quality time with us…
